After 40 yrs as a corporate senior executive, I finally had the opportunity to retire at the end of January 2016. Working in an environment of high demands and expectation, my overall health declined. Typical to many executives, I drank 4-6 cups of coffee, consumed sweets to keep my attention span to a high level, missed breakfast, absorbing fast food while eating late at night. Overall entering the age of the 60’s, I thought I was in decent shape.
During each annual exam, my doctor stated the same thing: blood pressure is too high (range 160’s) and recommended to begin taking high blood pressure medicine. As much as I worked out, my weight ( obese stage) did not go down nor did my blood pressure. During my examination in April 2016, my doctor shared a strong voice to me, “take the medication! You are a high risk of a heart attack”.
In Dec 2015, a doctor diagnosed me with a “trigger finger” injury. He recommended to take the same non inflammatory medicine that I used for my gout and if no improvement in a few month, minor surgery will be recommended.
My wife recommended Angelika, she was highly impressed with Angelika’s intelligence and how she managed her patients and a sense that Angelika would produce results. The pain in my finger was so intense it kept me from sleeping at night.

1. Replace coffee with green tea
2. Do cardio daily for 30-45 minutes
3. Avoid sugar and salt
4. Change eating habits
-no fast foods
-salad in am or oatmeal with fresh berries
-stay away from meat after 2pm
-dinner @ 6pm (soft food such as soup, salad-no meat)
-snacks after dinner ok such as nuts, berries, green apples
5. Rest in bed by 11pm
6. Listen to meditation messages off You Tube, resulting in deep and longer sleep.
Did I follow all of these changes? Not with consistency, however I became very discipline in keeping my commitment because it works!! The last time I was @ 235 was 24 years ago, and my blood pressure level today occurred 38 years ago.
